Bring your statement into the books

Import CSV, OFX, QFX or QBO statement files. This provides a starting point for reviewing bank and credit card activity, including when you use Sumlora as a standalone desktop app.

Review matches before posting

Check suggested matches against existing records and inspect categories before approving transactions. Rules help with recurring activity; you remain responsible for reviewing the entries.

Reconcile each account

Compare the transactions in your books with the bank or credit card statement for the same period. Investigate differences and keep reconciliation reports for your review and accountant handoff.

Choose imports or configured feeds

Online servers can use Plaid bank feeds when production access is configured and your bank is supported. Availability and provider charges depend on configuration. Ask us to check your bank during onboarding.

Make the review repeatable

Keep receipts with transactions, follow up on questions and resolve possible duplicates. A regular review helps keep the records ready for financial reporting.
